Grand Finals Weekend

The NRL and AFL seasons are drawing to a close; and what a weekend to finish it all.

This weekend is the weekend all sports fans look forward to.

This Saturday on the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Collingwood will try to make it two premierships in as many years against Collingwood. Collingwood will also be trying to send their coach Mick Malthouse out on a winning note as this is his last season as an AFL coach.

The betting margins couldn’t be any closer but Collingwood are the slight favourites to topple the Cats.

Channel 10 will be covering the AFL Grand Final Day from 10am Brisbane and Sydney time.

On Sunday the New Zealand Warriors, after overcoming premiership favourites Melbourne face, the tactical Sea Eagles at the Sydney Football Stadium, after Manly ended Darren Lockyer’s fairy tale exit to the NRL.

Manly are clear favourites to stop the Warriors from winning their first NRL Premiership.

Channel 9 will be covering the NRL Grand Final from 3:30pm Sydney and Brisbane time, but be sure to tune in early and watch the Cowboys and Warriors in the Toyota Cup Grand Final.

Whatever code you follow it will certainly be a fantastic first weekend of October when both Grand Finals will be played. Certainly a weekend not to be missed by any sports fan.
